once you’ve seen one anorexic Beautiful Person openly squatting to do “number two” in somebody’s front yard in Hopkinton, you’ve seen them all.

I'll never forget seeing, during a week-long trip that Mrs F. & I made to Beantown, the following two things, in broad daylight, in the vicinity of Center Plaza where Cambridge becomes Tremont:

• what appeared to be two Irish day laborers, passed out in a side alleyway, using concrete steps as pillows
• some drunk dude bracing against one of the concrete pillars that you see there at above right and unabashedly and loudly projectile vomiting into Cambridge/Tremont Street.

Oh fun.

I lived in Boston for a short while in the early 90’s. It was there that I saw the drunkest people I’ve ever seen in my life.
