Okay, I’m in California, and never been to either event in that fine city, but is there any chance Howie might have confused Boston Marathon Monday with St. Pat’s?
Yup, same thing—also happens if Red Sox or Patriots have a victory riot—er, parade. (What if it happens again this
year with the Celts or, hard to believe, the Bruins?) :)
Howie has it right! The marathon and St. Patrick’s day and any other event here in Beantown, are as Howie described it, drunks everywhere, runners and/or drunks pooping/peeing on lawns, it’s a fine city we have here.....I live out in the suburbs,,,,,one late nite last summer I was coming down my street and there was a car in front of my house, as I was pulling into my driveway a twenty something half in the bag girl was coming out of my bushes pulling up her pants, I kid you not, her two girlfriends who were in the car parked in front of my house, were laughing hysterically because she got caught pooping, yes pooping on my lawn,,,,I grabbed the cell phone, got the license number and called the cops, they found these idiots not too far from my house, hauled them back to my house and made the girl first apologize and secondly made her clean up her mess, it was not pretty, not pretty at all. If I was her parent I would have rubbed her face in it, she’d never poop on someone’s lawn again, then again, if I was her parent she would have been taught to use a toilet instead of a lawn.

No. Boston College is on the race route (Heartbreak Hill), and the students use any excuse for heavy drinking. I know, 'cause I graduated from BC!
