The nasty little man is not to be believed, and is probably better off hanged. But he does raise some interesting points.
So far in the prosecution of the War in Iraq the West has managed to knock over a pro-Sunni government (thus by definition pro al Qaeda) and put in its place a democratic government that is likely to side with Iran, given half the chance.
Why don’t we instead partition Iraq into three: the top bit goes to the Kurds, the middle bit goes to the Sunnis (it’s all desert anyway, and they are used to that) and the bottom bit goes to a new Iran once we have invaded, knocked over their government, hanged Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and his forty thieves, and re-established the house of Shah.
That to me, sounds like a great plan.
It IS a great plan. Hence Pelosi and her band of RATthugs won’t let it come to fruition.
