Among other politicians who attended the Mass was current New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, who is Jewish. Hope he rushed up for communion as well. After all, as the great theologian Nancy Pelosi tells us, it's all about people coming together, isn't it?

Bill Clinton did at a Mass; why shouldn’t BLoomberg. Neither believes in transubstantiation; BLoomie may be a bit more honest about it though

Mayor Bloomberg likely did not partake of Communion. Many Jews respect the traditions and beliefs of other faiths. To do otherwise is unseemly and disrespectful. I was a singer in my younger years and sang many requiems and masses. Enjoyed the music! I'm still a Jew.
