I haven’t seen Sabrina in several years, but we got to know her family during our kid’s sports activities. She’s scary smart and from her FITREPs sounds like a pretty squared-away Naval Officer until she apparently had a brain fart.

We should at least give her credit for not taking the Watada approach: no news conferences. No public declarations about the folly of the war. She made her decision and accepted the consequences.

She made valid points in her arguments but she should have dropped them and taken her assignment. She's no Watada, but Navy and Marine Corps aren't the Army. She'll face CM before a sympathetic panel and be convicted.
