They could lock you up for that, you know. If a policeman asks for identification, you'd better show some or be able to have someone secure those papers for you ASAP. Drivers License, birth certificate, baptism certificate, SS#... .anything, or you won't have your freedom for long.

Seriously, you don’t have to carry identification. But if driving then you do have to have your license with you.
