Friends of the Earth has been around for decades but they may be getting new life on the web, I don’t know.
They are fanatical enough to view the Sierra Club and Greenpeace and most other enviro groups as thoroughly middle-of-the-road.
FOE would abolish the Industrial Revolution, the modern economy, and modern agriculture if they could and send us all back to primitive times. Of course they would like to drastically decrease human population and economic output.
I am just glad they are stupid enough to blow their wad in California. Ofcourse I don’t know if people in other States are seeing their stupid commercials.
It would be pretty easy to write programs to generate millions of transactions from ‘random’ donors. Visa and MC would care less as long as they are getting their cut.
Seems like an easy way to launder payments.

They will raise an enormous amount of money illegally. It doesn’t matter if the fine is 5-10%. It is a cost of doing business and they take the White House.
