A 33-year-old Colorado Springs woman has been questioned about a telephone call that sparked a raid at the polygamist Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints compound in western Texas two weeks ago.
Rozita Swinton was arrested at her home Wednesday night by Colorado Springs police for an incident that occurred in February. Members of the Texas Rangers were also in Colorado Springs as part of their investigation.
"The Texas Rangers were in Colorado Springs (Wednesday) as part of their investigation involving the compound in Texas. They left and have not filed any charges on Rozita Swinton as of this time," said Colorado Springs police spokesman Lt. Skip Arms.
Colorado Springs police said the arrest warrant has been sealed and refused to release any other details, reported Deseret News.

Seems strange that the sheriff would have an active informant outside his county.
And it seems strange to me that so many here at FR are so ready to support the seizing of children from a religious community based on virtually no evidence.

Most states have laws that “someone will be arrested and booked after ALL domestic calls.” Almost always its the male.
This is part of the zero-tolerate B.S. infecting today’s society. No brains in-use by LEO or courts.

Granted, the state does not hve to release it's evidence to the public/media and for good reason, but the most I've heard so far has not been very solid.
Texas’ case is coming apart with astonishing speed. Looks like a grave miscarriage of justice may have occurred here.
That Jessop "has been an outspoken critic of polygamist practices" nay have provided a clue on who to call.
That was my first thought and it amazed me the amount of people here that came out in support of the government.
At least this once has a chance of being settled by the courts rather than with a torch.
