I am glad to hear you say how long it lasted. It was at least a 90 second shake here in Nashville, but I kept seeing people say it was only a few seconds and wondered how ours lasted so long. Mr G and I had a discussion about whether or not this was an earthquake.

Girl, did you sleep through the earthquake?

My mother in law in Alton, IL thought it lasted at least a minute, if not longer. She was awake when the shaking started.

there were after shocks....Probably it was more like 90 seconds... but it was long....Not much different if someone had dropped an a-bomb on us...
