No money, no volunteer work, and no votes from my family and me. Let McCain depend on moderates and independents for such support.
Don’t worry - he’ll be running to the left of Bush, not the right.
He should just get Shrillary to be his VP candidate and then he’d have loads of $$$ and tricks. They’re not far apart in their views.
Too bad for him he is a moderate who has snubbed his nose at Conservatives. We could be a very vocal grassroots tool if we weren’t sitting on our hands.
“The prospect of a President Obama is too frightening to contemplate,”
DITTOS ON THIS.
Yeah, me and 0.17% of other texans voted for that guy.
Alas, he helped put Obama on the map by losing so badly in 2004. Is he a secret obama admirer?
we need to stop Obama before he gets in the White House.
“Were you alive during the Carter administration? Can we afford that, or worse? “
I am convinced that obama as President will be as bad and worse than Carter. He has all the same flaws but is even more left-wing.
This is the biggest leftist-liberal bamboozling in our political history. Obama will be an utter and absolute disaster for the country.
More hear him than you might imagine.
That makes it more difficult. I think you are stuck with answering it.
I’m not a big fan of McCain, but do we really want President Obama? I think I have an obligation to the country to keep out a guy who will do the country a lot of damage. I owe to the country.
What drugs are you on? McCain is running neck and neck with Obama.
Keyes was pretty much a joke candidate as a Republican this go around and him and barr combined will get under 0.5% should they be so foolish and counterproductive as to run 3rd party/indie. Claims of anything else are 3rd party crack-pipe smoking.
What the obama liberals think and WHY THEY WANT OBAMA:
“William Ayers and his wife Bernadette are true American heroes. Thank “god” for those two. While most people in the late 60s were either futilely waving silly banners and doing things that had no impact - these two took the fight to the heart of the death machine. So what if a couple ROTC offices got bombed. That is nothing compared to what the Army did to the 10’s of thousands of unwilling dupes who got enslaved into being pawns in an unwinnable “war” - a dirty war that all involved knew was a total waste of time.
It is too bad that there aren’t any more heroes today like Ayers & Co. who have the balls to stand up to the history that is being repeated - instead we have a dumbed down nation of idiots who just believe the propaganda that gets spoon-fed to them nightly by the same jerks who ran that circus show of a “debate” in PA last night.”

“Im not a big fan of McCain, but do we really want President Obama? I think I have an obligation to the country to keep out a guy who will do the country a lot of damage. I owe to the country.”
You do, I do, we all do - owe it to our country. Some will do their duty, some will shirk it.
We shall see if the patriots outweigh the thumbsuckers this go around.
“The media will turn against McCain the minute the Democrat winner is announced. He will get NO favorable publicity from them, only attacks.”
They have already done so, actually.
LOL... Just not 60 days before the elections, as required by McCain/Feingold.
By God, if the Republican party had “walked the walk” after they had “talked the talk” and taken my money, they might have some G$$ D$$$ money to work with in this campaign. B$$$$$DS!!!!!!!!!
November will tell us if enough Dems, moderates, illegals, global warming gorebots and rinos will vote to get McCain elected President. Personally, I think they will vote for the true life long liberal, not a Johnny come lately like McCain.
I became eligible to vote in 1973, this may be the very first time I just stay home on election night. My local MN state Senator and Rep are the only guys I want elected and it's almost a certainty they will be reelected without my vote.
I didn't claim anything as fact. I didn't reference any statistics, polls, documents or anything else... like most posts here I was just thinking out loud.
Yet he says the (audience controlled) townhall meeting is his favorite venue.
Sen. McCain believes every American should participate in the arena, and that includes people that dont agree with him, Schmidt says, taking care to note that such unscripted exchanges have waned in the last decade.
Is that the same McCain that has thrown out attendees when they ask tough questons about amnesty?
Two areas of difference McCain will highlight: global warming and spending.
Oh, Joy! (BARF!)
