A homeowner who chased off two burglars during a home invasion and fired a gun at one of them might have provided the clue that led Wright County Sheriff's deputies to the suspects.
The homeowner woke up about 5:50 a.m. Tuesday to find two thieves inside his house on SW. 60th Street in Victor Township. He grabbed his gun and fired as he chased one of the suspects down a flight of stairs and into the yard. The suspect got into a Chevy Tahoe that had been reported stolen about 75 minutes earlier and drove away, the Wright County Sheriff said.
The homeowner went back inside his residence and found that the second suspect escaped through a window. He also found that several items had been taken, the sheriff said.
Deputies found the stolen Tahoe Tuesday afternoon parked at an elementary school parking lot in Cokato, Minn. It has a bullet hole in the side, the sheriff said.

I hope no one breaks into my house that time of day. I would probably tell them they could take anything they wanted, roll over, and go back to sleep. lol
At 05:50, I would have been waiting for them for the previous 50 minutes...
;-)
I'm in a semi-coma that time of day. Needless to say, I am NOT a morning person.
Reminds me, I need to spend some time at the range.
Jeez, you make it sound like a chore......
;-)
We do several different things to get in some practice, so just shooting at the range is a little vanilla.
