Could any of you or people you know file a FOIA suit to put all (or most, excluding material explicit on how to build a nuclear bomb, though I suspect it was just a ruse by the media in 2006 pre-election period) documents back on the DoD site.

I’d also suggest - as I had before - if that happens, to assign the documents blocks between several Freepers to download to local storage, so they can be later forwarded to jveritas and anyone else who would undertake the grueling and mostly thankless (but very appreciated here, thank you Joseph) and necessary task of translating and sieving through the huge number of documents for grains of truth.

While I wholeheartedly agree with wayoverontheright’s post (#5) that we don’t really need this as a “justification” of removing Saddam as a threat to the regional stability and to us and other world’s democracies - these documents, at the very least, should be treated like a Venona Project which pretty much put the lie to many leftist defenders in the US on the role and methods of Soviet Union and their Communist and socialist sympathizers in USA and the rest of the world.

The Democrats in Congress have know this forever as well but have intentionally lied about it on the expectation that the truth would never see the light of day.
The table has been set for the Republicans to absolutely destroy the Democrats in the Congressional elections. I doubt, however if they possess the stones required to play hardball.
