Why CAN’T you go “one by one”? These people have Constitutional Rights!!!!

If they go one by one, it could be a year or more before some of these kids even get a hearing.

There are some things they are going to have to do with all the kids, such as have the court order testing to find out which kids belong to which parents.

These kids were taught that they were children of the prophet, and who their biological parents were didn't matter. Many likely don't even know who their fathers are, and some might not be sure who their mothers are either.

The court has a number of things it's going to need to do that cover all the children, and it can do that best by addressing them as a group first, and then individually once they get things sorted out to the point where they can proceed along those lines.

A true patriot will do anything to make sure United States citizens are raised up as free people and not sex slaves.

"I wonder if they’ll apply equal force against polygamist muslims. Their religion says they can have up to 4 wives..."

And BEHEADINGS! Maybe we should legalize BEHEADINGS, too! And I know--how about HONOR KILLINGS! Geez, that would be just dandy. I mean, after all, all the cool Islamics are doing it...

So what your saying is that as long as you practice a religion, any religion, you can still reside in this country and expect to recieve all its legal protections and financial benefits like welfare, but at the same time, you can refuse to follow its laws, including ones dealing with child molestation, incest,

You know, Planned Parenthood has been covering for men who are guilty of molestation, incest and statutory rape for decades, all the while raking in taxpayer money. It’s time the authorities raid their compounds.

“I thought many of the mothers of these children were the VICTIMS of child rape?”

The problem is they don’t consider themselves to be victims. The FLDS teaches their members that child rape is just fine.

The mothers became co-conspirators when they encouraged their daughters to submit to child rape.

Since these mothers defend the practice of child rape, do you think they should have unfettered access to other victims or witnesses that would allow them to taint the testimony of those victims and witnesses?

Why CAN’T you go “one by one”?

Because each child here is not an only child.

Normally you would go family by family. But the fathers are nowhere to be found and none of the mothers will acknowledge precisely which of tehse children are their biological children.

This is part of a legal ploy devised by the FLDS to waste the court's time and the taxpayer's money.

If the fathers and mothers will not acknowledge their own children in open court, then there is no way to ascertain the precise parentage and full-blood siblings of each of tehse children individually - unless you map them all with DNA evidence, which the ACLU lawyers will fight tooth and nail.

The lengths certain FReepers are willing to go to blame law enforcement and the judiciary in this matter are mindboggling.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: if a ring of black welfare mothers from the inner city had pooled their children into a prostitution ring to get crack, and the fathers were nowhere to be found, no one would be criticizing the law.

But because it is a ring of white welfare mothers from the country who have pooled their children, whose fathers are nowhere to be found, into a prostitution ring to get higher status in the cult, it is suddenly an outrage.

Why are so many so called conservatives willing to give child rapists a pass?

I am willing to give CPS the benefit of the doubt until all the facts come out.

All this BS moaning and groaning about rights is hogwash.

If there are underage girls being married off to men that is breaking the law.

Is this one of those arguments that points out that since we aren’t enforcing the law in one area, we shouldn’t enforce it at all? Sounds like it....

Well, perhaps if this succeeds, it will get the ball rolling on other areas that have fallen behind.

"Which Constitutional rights have been trampled?"

I've been asking this question too. So far, no one cares to answer.

Freedom? The designated agents of the state of Texas are out there liberating childen who were, in all probability, being held captive by persons other than their parents as a surity against their true mothers leaving the cult.

With Warren Jeffs in jail now there must be tremendous pressure to keep the group together.

It is never wrong to free a slave even if the master must die.

I am always careful when the Government uses terms like “cult”. While I do not agree with their beliefs, I am however of the mind set that probley most of the children are not and were not abused until proven otherwise.

Also, they still haven’t located the person that made the first call.

Which makes the search and warrent illegal, I think you will learn this in the next few weeks.

Good question ~ the answer is you must VOTE REPUBLICAN this fall. Else the Godless, soulless communist punks who now run the Democrat party are going to pass a law prohibiting agitation against abortion.

That's what Obamasama says.

Polygamy isn't the issue in Texas. What the hell is so hard to understand about that?

IT IS ABOUT SEX WITH YOUNG GIRLS!

If the system would allow parents from other states to take them, yes in a heart beat, I would. One of the biggest problems in our nation is that loving Christian homes are not stepping up to the plate. And yes I am a suppoter of foster care in my home state.

“All of them?”

Do you think that there was a single woman in that compound that was unaware that child rape was a common occurrance?

Not really, it's an outrage all the way around. Even Representative Jim Moran was so outraged by such goings on in the public housing in his district that he sponsored and got passed a law that required evicting all the individuals residing in a public housing unit if any one of them got involved in such things or narcotics.

And if something outrages Jim, it was pretty bad because, next to Teddy Kennedy and Barney Frank Jim Moran is the single most immoral member of Congress.

I haven’t seen any arrests. This is starting to look like government out of control to me.

“PS - A TRUE patriot will do ANYTHING to protect the Constitution of the United States of America. Even if it means some bad people don’t get what we all know they deserve.”

Exactly how is the Constitution of the United States an issue in this case? Last time I checked this was entirely within the jurisdiction of the Republic of Texas. Nor have I heard that the Texas Rangers were federalized.
