Yale: Where mental illness is mistaken for art.

Let us not excuse this behavior as a "mental illness." It is not. It is EVIL!

There are EVIL people in this world and this woman is a member of that club. Only an EVIL person could dream up an "art project" like this. She has full control of all her faculties and she has chosen to use them to promote EVIL and to do EVIL deeds.

Calling it a mental illness allows those of us who are repulsed by this behavior to think that it wasn't her fault.

But it is her fault. Let us not ever forget that people can be EVIL for the sake of being EVIL. If we pretend that EVIL people are merely "ill", then we cheapen the meaning of GOOD. Being GOOD is a virtue; something that people who are GOOD choose to do for the sake of being GOOD.

Being GOOD is not a mental condition and being EVIL is not a mental illness. People become EVIL by the choices they make in life. This woman has freely chosen to be EVIL. Hence, she is an EVIL person. Don't try to soften it by pretending she's a victim of some uncontrollable mental illness. If you can excuse this, then you can excuse the Holocaust. There is no excuse. Let us pray that there are consequences.

Let me also suggest that her exhibition should be shut down and treated as biohazardous material.

Demonic is a good word.

But, it would be nice to have a word that includes both the idea personal responsibility AND that of an utterly insane act.

Depravity gets close.
