Of course it was... Reagan had his shortcomings too. Here's a partial list...

When inflation is considered, Reagan's budgets spent more %-wise on spending than Bush's. Reagan signed into law 2 tax increases, amnesty for illegals, and supported the Brady bill. He also signed the treaty that banned Freon and cut and ran in Lebanon. In the area of preventing abortions, he appointed O'Connor and Kennedy to the Supreme Court. Reagan also had a major lapse of judgment with trading arms for hostages in Iran/Contra. This was a major scandal that consumed nearly all of Reagan's entire second term.

Still I'm very, very glad I voted for Reagan. He was the best choice there was.

This is a vast difference between having some flaws and being “evil.” Reagan's budget spending was mostly due to a necessary defense build up. He appointed O'Connor, but initially she was a moderate/conservative. Kennedy was his third choice and came after the Bork fiasco with a democrat majority in the senate. Reagan cut taxes far more than he increased them.

True, Reagan made major mistakes in Iran and with amnesty. But, overall Reagan was very conservative and not a evil. McCain is a Soros’ sponsored leftist and clearly a evil.
