Asked why he would consider nearly doubling capital gains taxes even though historically revenue has gone up from lowering the rates, Obama got flustered.

Of course he got flustered. He got flustered because he can't say what he really thinks, which is that to him setting tax rates is primarily an issue of morality, not of raising revenue. For lefties like Obama, heavy progressive taxation equals social justice, and that's all that really matters.

Yes, that was his bottom line answer when Gibson again pointed out it won’t raise revenue - “it’s fairness.”

Left un-addressed was Gibson’s point it wouldn’t seem so fair to the over 100 million Americans who’d have to pay it.

In both candidate’s summary it was all class warfare.
