“that would be an act of aggression that we would — that I would consider an attack that is unacceptable. And the United States would take appropriate action.”
Translation: My name is Senator Obama and I wouldn’t have a freakin’ clue about what to do in a crisis.

I’m glad the debate was shown on ABC nationally. More people saw how bad the Dims were.

Both Clinton and Obama were rattled as ABC moderators Charlie Gibson and George Stephanopolous grilled them on a number of issues that have not been brought into focus before.
If you're a Democrat and you can get rattled by Charlie Gibson and George Stephanopolous, imagine how you'd crumble if you ever met a real journalist inquiring about Tony Rezko or how you made $100,000 in the cattle futures market.
Not that there actually ARE any real journalists. This is debate # 20 and just now the hard fastball is "do you favor wearing an American flag pin on your lapel?".

Obama responded unconvincingly, saying that even though he had a close relationship with Wright that spanned decades, it wasn't until he read an article in Rolling Stone that he found out that the reverend had delivered inflammatory sermons
So you sit in a church for 20 years and you don't know what's being said until you read it in Rolling Stone?
How on Earth are you going to find out about Kim Jung Il? Watch Team America World Police?

When Obama was asked a question about his relationship with domestic terrorist Ayers, he made the outlandish parallel to his friendship with conservative Sen. Tom Coburn, who is a fierce opponent of abortion.
Why mention him by name? Why not just "some of my best friends are white people."

she said she would, upon taking office, ask her security advisers, the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and the Secretary of Defense to draw up plans to begin a pullout within 60 days.
She couldn't even get Bill to pull out of Monica.

Obama dodged the question with boilerplate about the need to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, before eventually arriving at, "that would be an act of aggression that we would -- that I would consider an attack that is unacceptable. And the United States would take appropriate action."
Let's say, hypothetically, that Iraq had a dictator and he invaded a sovereign country, launched rockets at Israel, lit all of the oil wells in Kuwait on fire, gassed his own people, and actively sought weapons of mass destruction. What action would be appropriate for the United States to take?

Like most Democrats Obama could care less about foreign policy. So he’s not up to speed on worldwide problems. He’s bored by them .....
What really excites Hillary and Obama is making our system more socialist with more gimme programs and national medical care. And just coincidently these are vote buying programs. So they both take money from people who work hard to make good money and give it their Dem constituents. Buying votes from them. Don’t expect logic from the typical Democrat voter. He wants three things. Cheap gasoline. More Gubbermint gimme programs and no Iraq war because that means less gimme payments to him

Asked why he would consider nearly doubling capital gains taxes even though historically revenue has gone up from lowering the rates, Obama got flustered.Of course he got flustered. He got flustered because he can't say what he really thinks, which is that to him setting tax rates is primarily an issue of morality, not of raising revenue. For lefties like Obama, heavy progressive taxation equals social justice, and that's all that really matters.
Obama gave empty suits a bad name tonight. The combination of what he didn’t know and what he did know but didn’t dare say resulted in the all the charm of a dumb deer in the headlights.
Democrats will be in denial for a while before the buyer’s remorse sets in.

Half right. “Heavy progressive taxation” equals currency for buying votes.

Yes, that was his bottom line answer when Gibson again pointed out it won’t raise revenue - “it’s fairness.”
Left un-addressed was Gibson’s point it wouldn’t seem so fair to the over 100 million Americans who’d have to pay it.
In both candidate’s summary it was all class warfare.

It seems he “wouldn't have a clue” about a lot more than just his job as CinC!! Good grief, they both sound like bumbling idiots!
To: Question Liberal Authority
That remark REALLY pi$sed me off! Dr. Coburn is no racist. Where is the parallel? Osama Obama finds parity in anti-abortion and RACISM? Now there's some circular logic that would serve him well as President! NOT!
To: D-fendr
Obama is an empty suit with a severe case of flatulence.
To: kingattax
every time either hillary or obama opens their mouth they clearly show that neither one of them has even the first clue about what being president of the US is all about. They are both running on the "It's my turn" platform rather than "I'm the most competent" platform. These two haven't gotten out of the college debate level.
