Porro has been speaking out for years. Do you know how hard it was for such a viewpoint to penetrate through the MSM back in 2000? Back then even Tony Snow and Mark Steyn sided with the Castro/Rather view of Elian. Feel free to confirm this with a google check.
Maybe I’m not doing an effective search, but I googled “Pedro Porro Elian” and all I could find were references to recent articles, plus it looks like he took part in a documentary on Cuba (which looks like it’s worth watching). I’m not doubting you, though. Too bad the whole Elian Gonzales thing happened before blogs really took off.
