In the old days, you could fit seven in a Dodge Dart, toss at least nine in a Chevy Impala, and 12 or 13 in a Ford Country Squire station wagon. Better gas mileage, too!
Yep I tell that to the liberals who remark on our Excursion or my F250 Crew Cab. When I was growing up five kids fit fine in a 4-door Plymouth Fury. Nowadays even an Expedition is a tight squeeze for a large family if you have any luggage or groceries.
