I live in Portland, OR. I see it everyday on my way to work. But I don't see the police raiding every pregnant 14 year old house and taking other children out of the home.
And apparently it was not enough for law enforcement either because THAT WAS NOT the probable cause they used to invade the compound. They used an unknown tipster accusing a man that does not live there or anywhere else in TX.
If they believed crimes where being committed they should certainly investigate, but using the tactic they did the police may well lose the ability to present any evidence since it all stems from this “Phone call”. Fruits of the poisonous vine and all.
Exactly. See my post 55.
The "fruit of the poisoned vine" concept doesn't apply ~ and probably never really did except in the fevered brains of mentally deranged kneejerk Liberals.
You're not one of those people are you?
I understand the judge involved has been upset that the “unknown” tipster has not been produced as a witness...I think he smells a con job and I could understand why he wouldn’t want to be seen as colluding with state agencies to deny folks due process!
First you need to prove that happened, when the perverts attorney agreed to a third party review of things taken from the cult to protect client attorney privilege. They pretty well gave up the challenge of like of good faith against the warrant.
