With all due respect, you didn’t answer the question. Do you support raiding homes and taking children without any charges being filed? It is fairly safe to say that most of us don’t agree with the way that these people live. That doesn’t make what the government is doing right or legal under our system of justice.

I just have to ask. Would no action at all be better? Leave the children and their moms in place...and it is found that the cult has a dooms day scenario. ‘We must all follow the Prophet to our spiritual reward’ (or some such drivel). Would you question TX authorities movations then? Why did they leave them there? Why did’nt the state intervene?

Their is no perfect solution...the powers that be in TX have taken on a monumental task.

The women cannot or will not identify themselves or their biological children. Why? Wouldnt the expected response be ‘give me back my children!’

Lastly, you mentioned ‘gated communities.’ Do you honestly believe this compound is comparable to a golf course or retirement community? Quite a stretch.

CPS has the right to take children into protective custody to determine if kids have been abused. We might not like it, but their threshold is lower than in other criminal-type investigations.

Kids are going to state that they've been abused right in front of the abuser, and by the time you get enough evidence, the kid could be dead. It's just the way things work.

This cult had a history of underage sex with minors, and CPS was notified of two phone calls to a hotline. That is enough for CPS to investigate.

While I'm a strong believer in parental rights (I should be - I homeschool!), I also believe children have certain basic rights - like not being abused and raped!
