Voting against another, even worse, candidate might be feasible, but McCain is an unvarnished disaster waiting to assume power and work very, very hard against us, and with the support of much of the GOP as well.
Such is his history and I see no reason at all to assume that he will not openly cut the conservative values out of his administration and his future proposals in legislation.
There’s no point in voting for him. All that will do is serve to encourage the GOP further leftward. They’re telling us that there’s no such thing as conservatives and trying to convince us of the lie that Clinton democrats (Marxists and Socialists) are the same as the Reagan democrats. (conservatives)
Cowards buy those lies.
There is no such thing as conservative values. There is no such thing as liberal values.
He will be rubberstamped by the Dems and the RINOS in congress. There will be no push back against his crazy ideas.
The "honeymoon" period will see more liberal "progress" than the last 20 years combined.
It's my firm belief that we will see more liberal ideas codified under McCain than we would under either Clinton OR Obama.
People on FR can tell me endlessly that he is the lesser of three evils.
I don't buy it.
I think McCain will be a disaster
The only thing we can do is work like hell to get solid conservatives in the house, and then pray that they will slow him up.
