I've never, ever, run into a tout for predestination/election, who thought that they were not one of the “chosen ones”. Although they swear on stacks of Bibles that they can't be proud of anything, since they are non-free willed robotons, I always see the opposite, a smug arrogance that they are some of the elite few, and only they have an understanding of hidden doctrines that the rest of the ignorant, unlearned rabble seem to miss.
