The thrust of Wright speeches are right out of Malcolm X and the Black Muslim movement in the 60’s. I was wondering if there was a Muslim past to Rev. Wright.

In the 1960s Sam Greenlee wrote a novel that was made into a movie, it was called The Spook who sat by the Door, Barak Obama has always reminded me of the main character Dan Freeman.

The primary goal of that character was to be educated and learn the secrets of the CIA for the perceived revolution soon to take place in the USA against the Whites.

This was a movie alike Cotton comes to Harlem, 1960s-70s films which portrayed a minister ala Reverend Wright who pushed for Black Nationalism and separatism and a return to Africa, but was actually a scheme to enrichen himself,
in both instances the similarities between past fiction and current reality are indeed blurred.
