".....a Nobel Peace Prize recipient is part of a group asking the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change to "admit that there is no observational evidence in measured data going back 22,000 years or even millions of years that CO2 levels (whether from man or nature) have driven or are driving world temperatures."

Our Nobel prize winner can beat up your Nobel prize winner... Our Nobel Laureate is a scientist, not some one who got it by simply making a propaganda movie...

I guess he didn’t get the memo.
He can always find a job at Staples now that he is banned from academia.

Minor point, but since the headline blares a related bit out, I have a compulsion to point it out.
The 1988 Nobel Peace Prize went to all members of the United Nations Peace-Keeping Forces for their collective efforts since 1957. I assume that Svend Erik Hendriksen was a UN peacekeeper at some point between 1957 and 1988, but is applying the label merely in response to Gore's trumpeting of his own ultimate PC prize (also shared with thousands of folks at the IPCC).
In the scientific debate, these prizes are about as relevant as a grade 3 "well done" sticker slapped onto an art project, so it doesn't matter much. Just kinda funny.

This coupled with the announcement that GW does not increase storm intensity is showing that they do not know what they are talking about. And this is all a scheme to redistribute wealth.

Nobel Peace Prizes are given out by Norwegians (in Oslo), Science Prizes are given by Swedes (in Stockholm). There is a difference.

M203M4 - you are correct about Hendriksen being part of a massive group for the Peace Prize - but, according to several blogs, “Svend Erik Hendriksen [is also] a certified weather observer in the Kangerlussuaq Greenland MET Office.....responsible for all the weather observations at Kangerlussuaq Airport (near to Sisimiut).....” - I can't trace this to any accredited news source - also, the letter was co-signed by an analytical chemist, an astrophysicist, and a professor of ecology, so there does seem to be some empirical basis for it

Unfortunately, Cal Berkeley has so many Nobel Prize winners they have special lifetime parking spaces:

We’ve come from less than 500 million to over 6 billion and they all exhale CO2. Thimk about that.

Or was that your plan?
