Judging from the Wiki photo INS Mumbai is definitely respectable looking, as big as an Aegis cruiser.
But there are no more battleships...

India has its own smaller "regional" problems and will be well-served with destroyers that can get in close enough to drop rockets and large rounds on those problems.
They don't even need to leave India to find such places either.

Yep, the INS Mumbai is a Delhi-class destroyer not a battleship.

Sceptics of India's warship-building capability say -- with some justification -- that Indian designs borrow substantially from Russian and western warships. Well, duh. Take what the competition has done and improve on it. This is deficient... how?

Just figured out T-Mobile’s “signature” color appears to be magenta, not pink.

battleships like the INS MumbaiNot even close. It's a destroyer with a 4 inch gun and an assortment of antiship and antiaircraft missiles.

Many people use the word “battleship” as any armed naval vessel, no matter the size, not just those we know of as a battleship, i.e. the U.S.S. Alabama. BTW, if you’re ever in Mobile, Alabama, make sure you tour the battleship, WWII submarine (U.S.S. Drum) and many aircraft. http://www.ussalabama.com

Many people use the word battleship as any armed naval vessel, no matter the size,Just because some folks use words incorrectly, it doesn't mean that the rest of us have to.
A destroyer (f/k/a torpedo boat destroyer) is no more a battleship than a sloop was a ship of the line.
It would be possible to argue that it could be referred to as a capital ship.
