“Anyone who takes a look at Davis, sees where he is from and that he is a Republican would be hard-pressed to think of his ham-fisted reference to Mr. Obama’s youth and inexperience as anything less than a racial slur”

“Anyone”? I could see puke liberals that are entirely PC thinking that way, and what does “where he’s from” have anything to do with it?

Seems a little stereotypical of Kentuckians to me, unless I am reading it entirely wrong.

You're reading me wrong. I'm no liberal, but I'm hard-pressed to defend the stupidest remark I've heard come out of a white man's mouth in decades. When you add the “insulated” urbanite mentality to the mix, there are few, if any, who would be shocked to hear the speaker was from a southern state. It's what they think they do down there — marry their cousins and sit around all day at the end of a fishing rod, scratching their crotches and spitting at nothing in particular. The jokes about tooth to tattoo ratio are EVERYWHERE. I can't think of anyone I know who hasn't uttered a remark about “crackers” from the north or south.

Local DJs here in St. Louis have this group of elected and to be elected officials as being part of a secret game show called, “Who Can Say the Stupidest Things”. This guy isn't running for POTUS, but he sure has ended what could have otherwise been a promising career (if only he had been raised under something other than a rock).
