Is that so? Google “your boy” and “that boy” and see the thousands of times it has been used recently in normal conversations. Of course, if you got the vapors about this congressmen using it, I guess I really could care less what you think.
Now close your eyes and picture Barbara Boxer or her ilk referring to the President as "that boy." Even without the racial crap, the remark is utterly uncivil and beneath the dignity of a United States Congressman. In this party, we should be better than that.
That's without the racism. But the fact is, the word "boy," when used by whites to describe blacks is a racist epithet. Davis may not have intended to make a racial remark, but if he didn't, he should have known better.
He should have said that boy ain’t right.
