The critical attitudes described apply only to the evil, counterrevolutionary "antithesis" (the "west," chr*stians, what-have-you). The "revolutionary" groups (Blacks, women, homosexuals) are encouraged to adopt a for-all-practical-purposes "right-wing extremism." Thus we have "gay pride" (right wing nationalism for the "queer nation"), Afro-Centrism (Nazism centered on Africa instead of Germany), etc. Their is no deconstruction or criticism of the simple-minded "patriotism" of Blacks, "gays," and women.

Since a love of one's own nation is a natural human trait, Americans cannot be expected to become anti-American until they have replaced America as their "motherland" with another one (Africa, the gay "nation," etc.). Therefore the patriotism instinct actually remains intact, since the patriotism of such groups is transferred from America to some other place or identity (which is adhered to with every bit as much "simple-minded jingoism" as any American patriot could possibly manage).

In essence the Left encourages "right wing extremism" among the "oppressed," but this is seldom commented upon even by the Left's most articulate critics.

Nothing follows? Are you serious? :)

This is a very AWESOME explanation of what we’re facing in America today.

If only more people understood this entire situation we could combat it more easily.

Know thine enemies.... (to paraphrase Sun Tzu).

Marxism is, as I’ve said for YEARS, alive and well and it shows up right here on this board in various forms from certain trolls that seem to spontaneous explode from time to time.

I agree it pretty much sums it up. Especially the last two paragraphs.

Any conservative who thinks we are not in a brutal political and cultural war is suffering from complete delusion. It’s at every level of govt and affects every part of your life whether you realize it or not. You have no choice but to fight it, and fight it mercilessly, because if you don’t they will take everything you have and make you their slave.

It is not a pretty fight. You must be utterly ruthless and vigilant. You can’t give them an inch, and at all times must seek to politically destroy them. Cooperation and coexistance is not an option unless it serves your ultimate ends. That is your only alternative. If we don’t fight it now in the political arena with words and laws we will be fighting their shock troops in the street with guns and bullets. I prefer the former.

Hence my tagline.

I’ve been fighting back for a long time - but people see me only as a “loud mouth” with “no patience” and of course I’ve been called “rude” and “socially unacceptable”. Haha

All of these are ways to get people like me to “shut up” - because the more of us speaking out, the more they are backed into a corner.

So many people in society today have bought into this crap, especially the younger folks because they’ve been inundated by it in schools. This so called “political correctness” has corrupted society. Words are turned to mean other things than what they mean, and people who are normal, everyday folks, good citizens are slowing being turned into pariahs by the left.

People who “cling to their guns and religion” for instance. LOL

Another point I forgot to make: the existence of any system of "right and wrong," of "goals," of "shoulds and shouldn'ts"--is completely ludicrous in the absence of the Biblical G-d. Neither a single person, a group or people, a majority, an overwhelming majority, nor the human race as a whole can determine objective right and wrong. Communist atheists (like FReeper atheists) have no business decrying anything as "wrong" in need of correction, or any behavior as "good" and worthy of encouragement.

All non-Theistically based values and goals are utterly subjective (and that includes the immorality of "oppression").

Communism and Socialism are a lot like rats and roaches. The lazier society is, the more of this we’ll get. People don’t want to pay attention to what’s going on around them, distracting themselves with the offerings of a deviant culture, and waiting for the government to solve all their problems.

Like Bork said, we’re “Slouching Towards Gomorrah”.

Back at a computer for a little while...

You make some excellent points, particularly as they describe the move from "God and Country" to a more "acceptable" Balkanization. The concept of divide and conquer was not lost on the marxists.

Indeed, Linda Kimball done herself proud with this piece. Would that it would break through the barriers put up by the left, but victimology is their god of choice.

"Divide and conquer" is certainly being used, but my point is that the Left actually encourages the very attitudes it claims to oppose, provided the locus of the activities is changed. "Unthinking American superpatriotism" is condenmned, while "unthinking African superpatriotism" is encouraged--even ancient African monarchies are celebrated. Similarly, the religions of the "oppressed" are exempt from Leftist critique: whether Irish Catholicism in Northern Ireland, Black American Baptists, or the shamanism of "indigenous peoples."

Just glanced over the article, but does it happen to mention the 50 or so members of the Social(?) Democratic Caucus? Card carrying socialists one and all...

The most effective tool I’ve ever learned in dealing with those fools is to turn the tables on them with their own words.

Call me a loudmouth? I tell them they don’t like dissent and are squashing my free speech. I’m socially unacceptable? I tell them this isn’t church and they are forcing their morality on me. I cling to guns and religion? They’re elitists picking on the little guy who works hard to support his family, and religion hating liberals who want my guns so they can enforce their atheism at gunpoint.

You’d be amazed. It shuts them to down everytime when you portray them as the oppressors they are.

People don’t want to pay attention to what’s going on around them, distracting themselves with the offerings of a deviant culture, and waiting for the government to solve all their problems.

Hence, I suspect, the necessity of centralizing power in the feral gummint where it was never intended to be by our founders. They KNEW what would happen if when we got away from that which was expressly given to the states and the people.

A centralized point(D.C.) for this country and a centralized point(UN?) for world governance is much easier to manage than the de-centralized states.
