Even though I have "bad mouthed" McCain [in order to conform to FR peer pressure] .... deep down inside I love this man..... and I always have.
I love John McCain.
I love John McCain

I am really worried that he may ask Rudy Giuliani to be his running mate.

Is there a missing “Barf Alert” here?

Nice post.
All the McCain bashing really is getting a bit tiresome.
He’s the nominee.
Could be worse. Let’s get him elected now.

After listening to good ol’ Joe on FNC, I'm more worried that McCain will choose Lieberman.

Funny stuff. The MSM just spent 8 years building McCain up as a moderate, an independent... THE MAVERICK.... and now... oh he’s more conservative than you realize. What THEY don’t realize is they are helping his campaign with this type of story. I’m sure it’s not their intent... unless some are actually getting cold feet about the Arrogant Messiah? Nah, couldn’t be. ;-)

Keep telling yourself that.
It might even help if you do decide to pull the lever for JM.
John McCain has a partial conservative record. About the first 15 years of his public government service, he was a conservative.
The last 10 years of his public government service, he was, and is, a CINO, if even that.
I have no doubt that John McCain actually believes that we need to reach across the aisle to the Democrats more often and with more vigor.
I just don't happen to agree with him on this.
John McCain may end up being the next POTUS. If that happens, it's my belief that the Republican party is doomed to be socialism lite.

FWIW.

McCain’s best spokesman is Obama. Judges may make me vote for him, the border won’t let me give money.

McCain’s stubborn march to the GOP nomination says volumes about his character and tenacity.
And for all the FR squawking - where is the alternative, perfect Conservative hero? We didn’t find one and he didn’t find us.
McCain or Obama or Clinton?
I’ll take the Maverick - he reminds me of Harry T.

I'm sure that Mr. McCain is more conservative than his image. It's not like he backed bills limiting first amendment free speech..
... or wanted to allow tens of millions of illegal aliens to enter the country...
.. or thinks that government is the solution to every problem..
... or thinks that taxes are only supposed to be paid by "rich" people instead of all citizens being treated as equal.......
