Yes! Coyotes will eat anything that doesn't eat them first!

When I was in the USN, we hunted coyotes in the ravines next to tomato fields. The farmers loved to have us hunt them, they can eat their weight in tomatoes every week!

I saw in a forum that there is rabies around in Central Texas...so that is an added concern..That coyote had his ribs showing..but no drool
My raccoons are almost pets..They get close when I go out to feed them. I also have neighbor cats make the same route at the edge of the patio as the coyote.

It’s not as big a worry as a bear...but a concern nevertheless.!
