John McCain was invited but cited “scheduling conflict”. He was at home in AZ by the way.
I think he made a mistake by not attending; but then, maybe John doesn’t have much “faith and compassion” to talk about.
Did anyone else notice that the audience was very biased in favor of Obama?
Making, and keeping, people dependent on one form of Govt hand out or another is NOT “Compassion”. They should call it what it is “The Politcian Pandering” forum or the “Vote Buying” Forum.
Didn’t answer the question.
The perfect candidate is ..............?
This is the beef I have with conservatives attacking McCain.
There’s no consensus. Just complaints. Just like the democrats. Complain, complain, complain.
Ditto here, Bunny.
I am a COMPLAINER, so what, I am a still a conservative and I still AIN"T voting for that unstable dislikable RINO relic. But my complaints go far beyond the Republican Party's pathetic presumptive candidate. My complaint is with the Teddy Kennedy Wing of the Republican Party. I did not vote Republican in eight consecutive Presidential elections so I would face a situation in which if I am to continue to vote Republican then I must vote for Teddy's co-sponsor of amnesty.
Obama - supports suicide by the terminally ill because, in his 20 years of working with churches, he believes the only way to alleviate pain and suffering of the terminally is to commit suicide.
Obama - denies the father any rights to his unborn child and any say so in whether that unborn child lives or dies, because in his 20 years of working with churches, he's learned its only the mother's choice.
Obama - only complimented Bush on his AIDS package to Africa because, in his 20 years of working with churches, he's learned that his roots in the Black religious experience and tradition are deep, lasting and permanent. And he is an African people, and remains true to his native land, the mother continent, the cradle of civilization, Africa.
It amazes me how these evil people can so effectively doublespeak. However, it sure doesn't surprise that evil attempts to convince us that's not only is it a good but also necessary. And, all his support to stop the punishment of mothers, by suggesting that they kill their unborn children instead of suffering the miracle, which they are and correctly he termed them on the exact same day, should tell everyone exactly just how evil this man is and his goals are. He knows children are miracles and that's why he believes they should be killed. He knows that suicide intercedes with God's plan for an individual and that's why he want people to do it. Yeah, he works with churches alright, just like Lucifer works with us.
ahh, you haven’t voted in 8 elections.
32 years of non voting.
Have a good day.
I wouldn't want to be in either of their shoes, when the time comes for them to stand in judgment. There's a special place for people who participate and conspire in the killing defenseless little boys and girls.
We, as a nation united, are killing over 4000 defenseless little children a day. And the people who are the part of the American public that sit back and delude themselves into believing that this fact shouldn't “overshadow” other issues like poverty and health insurance, etc, are going to have a rude awakening on their day with Him, too. It's all our responsibilities to defend the defenseless.
Very well said.
