He's something I love about our Benedict: also when he was 14, his whole class was automatically enrolled in the Hitler Youth. Though it was not possible to "un-enroll," he repeatedly refused to go to meetings. (I'd love to think my boys, at 14 would have had this much nerve!) The whole story was carried by
USA Today.
I wonder if that was his direct response to what happened to his cousin.
