They aren’t going anywhere. They can smell that third term.

There are coupe of things I find hilarious about this whole thing.

The first is the Democrat Party is now seeing that the Clinton's are he ego driven, deceitful, dishonest and have no core principles other than seeking power for themselves. Of course those of us on the right have known this all along-its just fun to watch the looks on Democrat's faces when they realize how horrible the Clinton are. Governor Richards is the latest example-he defended Clinton when he was denying the Lewinsky accusation, he helped him stave off impeachment. Now he supports Obama and he is compared to Judas Iscariot. In their minds he is like Judas which makes sense as they consider Clinton to be akin to Jesus?

The second thing is how they squirm when the race or gender card is used on one of their own. For 50 years the Democrats have used accusations of racism or sexism to attempt disarm their republican opponents. I suspect that Ferraro and Clinton never in their wildest dreams thought that such accusations would made against them. And they are finding out how hard it is to defend oneself against such accusations.

And there She Who Cackles is out harshing all over that poor black man’s desperate bid for the Presidential nomination. She ain’t bitter, no Sir, she ain’t.

The only thing of similar magnitude I can think of is the brouhaha that went up over a casual remark from George Allen, former Senator from Virginia, in a race for re-election he seemed to be well ahead in. By calling one of the shadowers of his campaign a “macaca”, George brought down the wrath of a broad spectrum of the media upon his as being somehow “racist”, and therefore EEEEEE-vil.

George Allen should have been one of the Republican candidates for President in 2008. Young, good looking, fairly well known BEFORE this blow-up, with experience both as a governor (of Virginia) and in the Senate, he would have been head and shoulders over most of the rest of the field, and WAY ahead of anybody the Democraticans put out there.

"She is pinning her hopes that either Obama falters or that the opposition research her team has been sitting on makes its way out from June to August."

She's come a long way in the last week to her first hope, Obama falters, with perhaps some help from her "opposition research team" obtaining the video. My guess is she will unload all that "research" she's obtained pre-convention even if she knows she hasn't a prayer of winning the nomination. After all, there's always '12 to consider, and she certainly will prefer a Republican president to a Democrat keeping the WH seat warm for her next bid.

You're absolutely correct, "They aren't going anywhere."
