well...technically - you can be a “gay catholic” and still be in communion with the church as long as you are not actively living the lifestyle - not participating in homosexual acts.
The Church does not teach that the orientation, itself, is sinful.
The gays have a point though...heterosexual couples are also ignoring Church teaching.

That is in contradiction to Catholic teachings as well.
I am not a Catholic, but I would be **thrilled** if Catholics would practice their religion...ALL of it!
