“Since Sen. McCain immediately chastised a far-right talk show host who insulted Obama at a McCain event, some believe Obama might have been smart to return the favor.”
Or not. Negative campaigning works, and Sen. Obama relies on proxies to do the dirty work so he can disavow knowledge. The term I’ve heard used in the past is “plausible deniability.”
Sen. McCain, in addition to being an anti-conservative, has lousy judgement. Rather than responding to his opposition, he spends his time criticizing those who look to be in his camp. Makes you wonder what he would do if he were elected as President; engage our enemies, or criticize those who level allegations against them? Heaven forbid some conservative commentator makes an over- the-top allegation against the dictator of Iran. President McCain would no doubt expect an apology from anyone who impugned Imadinnerjacket’s good name.
We are in so much trouble for the next four years.
I’m know the Supreme Court judges are worth it, but the rest of the problems are putting us right in the Poo. Either candidate.
