Once again his camp issued a lame statement that only tried to change the subject. And they claimed none of them had yet “heard the tape”. Come on. Don’t think he can easily wiggle out of this one, and the timing couldn’t have been better. “Small town America” makes up the heart and majority of this country, not the wine & cheese, latte-land elites such as those flush Californians to whom he pontificated.
