People hate the Yankees for one reason, because they win more then any other team. It’s jealousy pure and simple. I could care less if the Yankees go 162-0, which they won't do because they suck.
But, regarding them winning more than anyone else, I assume you mean World Series titles, yes?

And the Yankees won the overwhelming majority of those WS without having to play more than one post season series. If they had to play an ALCS before an WS then I would hazard a guess that they have a few less to their credit.
