Yes, adding ram to a newer laptop is usually quite easy. There should be a single screw over a compartment on the belly of the laptop and it may even have a very small picture of ram on it. The only problem you might run into is some laptops have two slots right next to each other which makes it easy but some manufacturers are now and have also have the slots in seperate places and that is usually under the keyboard. Some from the factory fill the easy spot under the belly leaving the harder to get to one under the keyboard as the expansion slot hence making it a little more challenging but again, the screws for the keyboard are usually marked on the belly with little icons with keyboards on them. Again, the actuall inserting of the ram is quite easy... its just a matter if your expansion slot to add memory is under the keyboard or not... Then if it gets difficult, then just buy a larger chip for the one slot you can access as another way to upgrade...
