More Anti-American Racist garbage from Obama's "church" (PVT)
TUCC Bulletin | 2005-2007 | Pissant

Posted on 04/10/2008 9:15:25 PM PDT by pissant

I decided to take a peak at the weekly bulletin that Obama and Pastor Wright's church produces. As bulletins go, its a fairly slick production. The beginning is the readings and prayers from that week's service (minus the sermon). But each bulletin has the Pastor's Page, usually written by Pastor Jeremiah. Sometimes it is an article he chooses to feature instead (such as the apologist for Hamas).

In addition, they have another 'reverend' on staff, Reginald Williams Jr., who regularly coughs up more liberal nonsense in his "To Do Justice" page of the bulletin.

After reading through about 10 bulletins, all full of extreme leftism of course, I thought I'd share a few nuggets with you. I took snapshots of the PDF pages and I kept the links so it will be easy to navigate.

But following are the money quotes for today.

From the Nov 18, 2007 bulletin under "To do Justice":

as currently celebrated in this country, "Thanksgiving" is a bitter reminder of 500 years of betrayal returned for friendship

From the Feb 4, 2007 bulletin, from Rev. Jerry himself, comes this gem at the end of his article on the statistics of black men in jail....

South Africa under apartheid was internationally condemned as a racist society.

South Africa under apartheid (1993), (incarcerated) black males: 851 per 100,000.

US under George Bush (2003), black males: 4919 per 100,000.

What does it mean when the leader of the "free world" locks up its black males at a rate 5.8 times higher than the most openly racist country in the world?

And then there is this little ditty from Rev Reggie regarding Katrina in the Sept 18, 2005 church bulletin:

Just as the rhetorical ethic is found in the racism that built this country, we can also find the racial rhetorical, which exists in the Bush family. Upon viewing the living conditions of those displaced persons in the Houston Astrodome, Barbara Bush, the mother of George Bush stated that those conditions worked out well for them because many of them were underprivileged anyway (notice the lack of a legit quote here). Now we see, in the words of Kayne West, why George Bush does not care about black people. HE WAS TAUGHT THAT BLACKS ARE NOT PEOPLE FOR WHICH TO BE CARED. (emphasis mine).

And finally, they don't just hate and blame whitey in the US. Obama's church was global in its reach (remember thos evil white Romans). So here Rev Reggie lays into the French for their racism that 'caused' the muslim riots in recent years. From the Nov 20, 2005 bulletin:

Young persons who are sick and tired of the government's and society's exclusive, supremest, and racist attitudes towards them are rising up and making themselves heard.....(snip)...This shows that racism is not just an American entity, but a worldwide occurrence. In fact, if the names were switched, it could very well be America rather than France.

Nothing new with this garbage. They’ve been spewing it for decades. Yet one more case of wanting it both ways. They decry rampant crime in the black community. One way to ensure there is less of it is to lock up the criminals! Duh. But then the criminal coddlers scream that too many men are locked up, because of Bush. If it weren’t so tragic it would almost be comical.

If Clinton or Obama are president next year, and the percentage of people in jail remains close to what it is now (which seems likely in any case) will they still be screaming about America locking up so many guys??

New project for America. To Hell with the infrastructer problems, let’s clean up our major cities, bulldoze the ghettos, hire all these jobless, uneducated losers for the stoop labor they might be capable of, and get on with things. The alternative choice for these people is military service, which would involve a real education for the first couple years, then military training. Those incarcerated for minor crimes should have an opportunity to change their lives. Surprisingly, it would cost less in real dollars. Since the serious welfare state began in 1964 with the signing of legislation to help the blacks like we helped the Indians, this has all been downhill. We haven’t learned a damn thing, and we might elect a new leader to continue down this path. If ever there was a wake-up call, it is so loud, it is deafening! I still believe there is some leadership in this country, and what is holding them back is the biggest mystery of all. You could take any CEO from the top 500 corporations in this country and they could do a better job. Same goes for governors and mayors of large cities. So, what is the problem? The mob thinks it knows best.

“We haven’t learned a damn thing,”

I think you are mistaken here. “We” have learned a great deal. It is the left that obstinately refuses to learn anything, because to do so destroys their entire world view. Changing one's world-view is the most difficult of things for a person to do. It is seldom accomplished by anything other than severe, live changing event.

That has not happened to people on the left. They have a severe case of cognitive dissonance, where reality and their views are separated by a chasm. That is why there are so many conspiracy theorists on the left. It is one of the very few ways that they can try to reconcile reality with their world-view.
