I hope and, yes, pray that the Beijing Olympics melt down into a political and social disaster for the tyrannical CCP regime.
May they sweat and suffer the whole summer long.

So, what if China hosted the Olympics and no one came?

Jacques Rogge, the president of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), said that competitors were free to express their political views but faced sanctions if they indulged in propaganda.I presume that propaganda in this context means anything the Chi-Coms don't like.

LOL
If no one came, there would still be no good air to breathe in Beijing.

I am wondering why the photo is cropped the way it is. The blue suit, must have been about to go balistic.

Ok, then lets just end the games forever and no one will need to be bothered. It will save tax payers tons of money.

Rogge is an unprincipled, anti-freedom, self-hating Westerner who is constantly on the lookout for ways to kowtow to totalitarians — the more brutal, the better.
This policy is obscene, and Rogge knows it. He’s enforcing the Butchers of Beijing’s totalitarianism for them to protect the poor babies’ sensitivities. Well, it’s time someone took a stand.
We should boycott the Beijing Olympics and bar Chinese goods from our country. If I were President, when the Beijing Olympics are opening (without Americans), I’d be visiting Taipei. From there, I’d go visit Daramsala.
And we should step up the arming of Taiwan. Support Free China and strengthen it as much as possible.

I wonder how much the ChiComs spent greasing this slime ball’s palms?
To: fishhound
What I would really like to see at this Olympics is for a bunch of the atheletes with no hope of winning a medal (e.g. folks like Eddie the Eagle Edwards, the Jamaican bobsled team, and the “Agony of Defeat” guy from ABC Wide World of Sports) to unfurl Tibetan flags at the opening ceremonies. They could get some attention for themselves and pi$$ off the Chi-Coms. And if enough of them do it, they’ll be pretty well insulated from reprisals.

At least let’s put an end to purely fascist manifestations of the torch run.
Sheesh.

I would like to see Tibet field just one athelete.
Tibet would have to be invited.

Seems no one thought of supersoakers. Or did the authorities make it a felony to carry a bucket of water on the street.

Totally agree.
(Boy, that feels strange!)
To: fishhound
Yes, but it would only be the Chinese who were forced to breath it.

competitors were free to express their political views but faced sanctions if they indulged in propaganda. How about putting Chinese flag on their door? Is it allowed?
