How many non-primary colors can you remember (without Googling)?
1. Magenta
2. Burnt Sienna
3. Periwinkle
4. Midnight blue
5. The flesh colored one - Putty or Beige?
Forest Green
Navy Blue (does that count as a primary?)
Dandelion
Maize
Red-Orange and Orange-Red (they're a mix, they don't count, lol)
Salmon
Copper
Violet-Red
Burnt Umber (?)
Melon
Canary Yellow
Okay, my mind is now toast.
I always like silver and copper. I also like the way they looked right out of the box. As a kid it fascinated me.
The always politically incorrect Indian Red.
Also I remember periwinkle, cornflower blue, lemon yellow (used that one all the time -heard they got rid of it) and wasn’t there a goldenrod?
There was also olive green, which I hated. Raw sienna, burnt umber. Sky blue.
It's now called "Peach" after many complaints that this crayon was name was racist.
My favorite colors were copper and silver.
When I was in college, I bought a box of 64. Before I opened it up, a friend of mine and I tried to see how many of the 64 we could remember. I think we did pretty well. I wish they had not done away with the color wheel names. I think that was a nice feature.
Baby puke yellow and baby poop green readily come to mind.
