cairo is the biggest ghetto in the world.
i lived in egypt for a year. trash everywhere. people living in the stone age. toilet paper is something they dont use.
the pyramids were almost nice until you turn around and see cairo polluting in the background.
HI....I was planning on visiting Cairo next year. It’s a pot of call on the cruise ship. Is it worth it to see the pyramids??
That’s so true! I brought toilet paper THANKFULLY because I never saw it there! Only in the fancy western hotels. Everyone in the country doesn’t use TP!!! It’s not in the culture. So crazy.
As for the trash we were walking along in Cairo and couldn’t believe it but we saw some gal throwing trash out of her store right onto the street!
