Farther along the six-mile route, about 200 Chinese college students mobbed a car carrying two people waving Tibetan flags in front of the city's Pier 39 tourist destination.Hopefully, no one was hurt during all of this. (The excerpt doesn't make any mention of injuries.)
Yipes.

Tibet is and always was a part of China?
Not until chairman Mao’s murdering soldiers invaded Tibet in the 1950’s.
Expel these Chinese “students.”

It’s fine with me if they are proud to be Chinese. And the best place to be proud to be Chinese, is in China. The quicker we can get these students back there, the quicker they will be reunited with the source of their pride.

Gee, I was kinda hoping that 200 Chinese students were run over and squashed by the Tibetans.
The Chinese are nasty fascists, thugs, killers and country rapists.

The flag-wavers should have jumped out of the car, run around it, and then gotten back in. “Fire Drill!!!”

Chinese leaders will and have used this *pride* to create spies in this country. Apparently this *pride* trumps citizenship in the US.

Unpleasant truth:
I don’t see a lot of conservatives speaking up about this. Don’t even see a lot of Republicans speaking up about any of it.
Almost none, in fact. Seems the only people who object to what’s happening - are liberals.
That’s embarrassing.
Seems the only thing conservatives object to anymore ... is John McCain.

Yeah.
Athiest communist totalitarian state, murdering people for their religion.
No conservative cause there.

Objecting to John McCain is a full-time job...there is so much to find objectionable.

"I'm proud to be Chinese and I'm outraged because there are so many people who are so ignorant they don't know Tibet is part of China," Yi Che said. "It was and is and will forever be part of China."No it wasn't. Take your ignorant commie butt back to Red China.
Prehistory Chinese and "proto-Tibeto-Burman" may have split sometime before 4000 BC, when the Chinese began growing millet in the Yellow River valley while the Tibeto-Burmans remained nomads; Tibet split from Burma circa 500
Early History
Tibet appeared in an ancient Chinese historical text, where it is referred to as Fa. The first externally confirmed incident in recorded Tibetan history occurred when King Namri Löntsän (Gnam-ri-slon-rtsan) sent an ambassador to China in the early 7th century.
Pretty obvious that Tibet was not and never was part of China which itself can't claim to have been one country for much of its history. Unlike Tibet which can.
