In 2004 Eller was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Named to
the Vikings’ 40th Anniversary Team in 2000.
On February 27, 2006, he was arrested for DUI.
On April 8, 2008, he was arrested for Fourth Degree Assault on a
police officer.

In 1992, Page was elected to an open seat as an Associate Justice of
the Minnesota Supreme Court, becoming the first African-American to
ever serve on that court. He was re-elected in 1998, becoming the
biggest vote-getter in Minnesota history, and was again re-elected in 2004.
Justice Pages contributions to the community have not gone unnoticed,
and he has been the recipient of a number of awards recognizing
the impact he has made on the lives of children throughout the nation.
He has also received Honorary Doctorates in Humane Letters from the
University of Notre Dame, Winston-Salem State University, and Gustavus
Adolphus College, as well as Honorary Doctorates of Laws from the
University of Notre Dame, St. Johns University, Westfield State College,
Luther College, and the University of New Haven.
