The Senate is expected in June to bring up a bill that would impose mandatory, economy-wide restrictions on greenhouse gases. The bill, drafted by Sens. Joe Lieberman (I-Conn.) and John Warner (R-Va.), would establish a so-called cap-and-trade system that would allow industries to purchase credits for the right to continue emitting carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases above allowable levels.

These types of bills give the lie to Global Warming better than anything that could be said. It exposes it for the lie and tax scheme it(global warming) was created for. The Reason so many Republican politicians want to jump on the band wagon is they too see the opportunity to rip more money away from the stupid masses. Conservatives(politicians) in the republican party are few and far between.

If you open up [the debate over the science], you can go on for hours, Inhofe said.
Why let scientific facts get in the way when you can gain voters by appeasing socialists.

My long affiliation with the GOP is about to end. Not only are they idiots, they are late-adopter idiots who are on jumping on the back end of the AGW bandwagon just as the skeptic bandwagon is taking off. What a bunch of maroons - dumbocrats in whigs!

How’s this? It’s a bunch of huey. The science is screwy. 30 years ago, when I was a lad, they used the same argument to claim we were on the verge of a new ice age. Kablooey!
