Mr. Walton responded: "You're a great associate, Hillary." Turning to the crowd, he added: "She's one of us."

Yeah, she'd fit right in with most of the people I see in Wal Mart. Trashing the place, acting stupid, letting their kids be a nuisance.

The auto-exert messed up the article.

The story is about a small video company that was canned by Walmart.

The company has all the video surveillance of Walmart for years past.

They tried to sell the videos back to Walmart for 2 million, but Walmart only offered $500k. So this company is threatening to sell the videos on the open market.

It has videos of all the private parties with execs doing some embarrassing things.

The best part, maintains plaintiffs lawyer Gene P. Graham Jr., is that “Wal-Mart has no control over this stuff.”

Wal-Mart isn’t pleased. “It’s difficult to understand how the company could now sell to third parties the material we paid it to produce on our behalf,” says a Wal-Mart spokeswoman. “Needless to say, we did not pay Flagler Productions to tape internal meetings with this aftermarket in mind.” She adds that the company is “reviewing our legal options”.

Flagler offered to sell the whole video archive to Wal-Mart for several million dollars, Ms. Villanueva says, although she won’t disclose the exact price. Wal-Mart countered with an offer of $500,000, arguing the footage wouldn’t be of interest elsewhere, the two owners say.

Wal-Mart isn’t pleased ... well too bad ... maybe they should read the paperwork from their own portrait studios ,,, same EXACT situation and legal agreement ,,, you do not own the rights to the photo’s only the prints themselves that are bought through the studio which owns the copyright in perpetuity. They were offered a fair deal to buy the rights and came back with a counter that was ridiculous,, they’re screwed.
