Very good!
Girl, where have you been? I haven't seen you in ages. LOL, talkin' my language there. You're right, it don't make no sense.
I have a hope that one year they will spend so much time organizing and running the Torch Relay, that they will forget about doing the actual Games.
There were plenty of reds out on the streets and they seemed a lot better organized than the oposition. I didn’t get to see the torch and associated protests at lunch time but I had to walk about a block down Market Street about 2:30 and saw the demonstrators coming up Market to wherever they were going. Somebody (the City government or some other communist front organization) had handed out cheap plastic US, Olympic and commie Chinese flags. About 80% of the people I saw were carrying them. The other 20% were the “Free Tibet” crowd and a few ROC supporters protesting something.
I heard one Taiwanese guy who’d gotten hold of a set of flags say he was going to take his commie flag home and burn it in front of the family. I like the Taiwanese.
The “Free Tibet” crowd were the usual have-demo-will-travel suspects from the East Bay, including the usual mix of sixties retreads; shivering in tie their die t-shirts (it was about 55 with a good breeze) and lots of little white kiddies with dread locks, body piercings and tattoos. No doubt playing hooky from school. Once again public transit is the enemy of civil order - I doubt any of those clowns could operate a motor vehicle.
I don’t like the PRC but the “Free Tibet” crowd definitely needs to get a better rent-a-mob.
Hi, Nana, I have been keeping low. Been busy with work and other projects. How are you holding up? Were you one of the IRS ladies who won the lottery a couple weeks ago? LOL!
like you, my life is too busy for freeping much any more. I pray that you are well and happy. God bless.

After the torch parade was rerouted and shortened to prevent disruptions by massive crowds of anti-China protesters, the planned closing ceremony at the waterfront was canceled and moved to the airport. The flame was put directly on a plane and was not displayed. (AP Photo/John Storey)
Plants, bub. They're not just for gardens anymore.
Oh, come on! It won't cost Californians, nor even San Franciscans, a dime...the GOVERNMENT is using their money for it. <|;-D
“According to CNN, those thugs were Olympic committee officials.”
Other information indicates they are Chinese military in blue track suits.
I would rather keep the ChiCom thugs out of our country..
Hard to compete against the cash available to the PRC Embassy for mob rentals...especially when so much of the indigenous mob material are Red anyway.
True.
