I’ve been here 32 years and haven’t been there. Of course I live in Tucson so while I’m in the same state as the Canyon by political division it’s still a long way away, most European countries would fit between the Canyon and Tucson. And there is absolutely no way I’d hike the canyon, ever, way to vertical, way to long, way too much pain.

In 1961, my Dad took his Cessna 180 and flew me over the Grand Canyon (and Meteor Crater).
So we’re flying at 1000 feet then all of a sudden, the Earth falls away!
