Get your popcorn boys and girls this is going to be good.
China has lined up 1000's of supporters, while protestors range from Tibetan monks and their supporters, Burmese Monks, other critics of China, and your usual rabble rousers.
CNN running a local feed showed the convoy go into a new warehouse. Now its showing media types jumping into a bus at new stop.
KRON showing convey on the move again.
perhaps a sudden end to the relay,, a ride straight to justin herman plaza and the closing ceremony? oh wow.
All cross traffic being stopped as police motorcycles escort the buses.
I was just down there, under the Bay Bridge by the firehouse underneath. When I walked north towards the Ferry Building the route was 100% clogged with protesters (and ordinary people too). The police were doing nothing to get the course clear. I finally left to go back to work. If they’re going to carry the torch through that route they’ll need a full riot brigade, a few bulldozers and water cannons.
speculation they are running a reverse route? wierd..
Yup, a bus ride from beginning to finish, it’s the only way to ensure no incident.
Convoy stopped again in main downtown street. Waiting for more streets up ahead to clear?
So at what point do they simply accept the fact that the IOC committed a MAJOR BLUNDER in giving the Olympics to China? Who’s next, Sudan?
Police Scanner: Torch coming out at Van Ness and Bush. New way off route location.
Also a car accident near that location.

I wonder if protesters get screwed this way often? I’d be pissed.
lol.. buses are stopped, they may be looking for an open stretch of road to start the run, may be dropping runners off two at a time..
this is on Van Ness, quite a hiking distance form the embarcadero where the bulk of protesters are gathered..
Runners exit bus! Here we go!!
NBC feed saying run is going to take place along Van Ness
North Korea!
sw
protesters have been caught offguard..
